COSCO Container Tracking: Status and Free Days
Use COSCO SHIPPING Lines’ official cargo tracking to check your shipment, then read each event with its location and date type. CargoFlowPlus provides a separate workspace for monitoring your references.
- Check the event location
- Look up free days with the carrier
- Confirm release before collecting
Check with COSCO
Open COSCO cargo trackingExternal carrier website. CargoFlowPlus tracking starts separately inside your account.
Start from COSCO’s cargo tracking page
COSCO SHIPPING Lines runs cargo tracking on its eLines e-business site. Check that the returned containers and route match your shipment before relying on any single event.
Use COSCO’s own free-day and release tools
The eLines menu lists a DND Free Day Enquiry, a demurrage and detention tariff, arrival notices and cargo release as separate tools. Use them to confirm free time and release status rather than inferring them from a tracking event.
Read each leg separately
An arrival or discharge at a transshipment port is not the same as arrival at the final destination. Compare the event port, vessel and voyage before you use a date to book onward transport.
Confirm collection conditions
A discharge event from COSCO does not confirm customs clearance, cargo release or terminal pickup availability. Check those with the carrier, terminal or your agent before arranging collection.
How CargoFlowPlus handles it
- Check the carrier result: Use the official COSCO lookup and confirm that the returned journey matches your shipment.
- Test your CargoFlowPlus reference: Choose COSCO and the available reference type in your account. Confirm the request there to start tracking; coverage varies by reference and route.
- Review updates in context: Read reported milestones and carrier ETA alongside your other shipments. Confirm collection conditions with the responsible parties.
Is this the official COSCO tracking website?
No. This is a CargoFlowPlus guide linking to COSCO’s own service. The two services have separate access and tracking workflows.
Will both services show exactly the same information?
Not necessarily. Field availability and update timing can differ. Test your own references and use the carrier or terminal for release and collection confirmation.
