CMA CGM Container Tracking: Shipment Status

Use CMA CGM’s official tracking service to check your shipment, then read each event with its location and date type. CargoFlowPlus provides a separate workspace for monitoring your references.

Check with CMA CGM

Open CMA CGM tracking

External carrier website. CargoFlowPlus tracking starts separately inside your account.

Choose the matching reference

CMA CGM’s tracking page offers Container Number, Shipment Ref and My Ref. Use the option appropriate to the reference you hold, then confirm that the route and container belong to your shipment.

When the lookup returns no shipment

Recheck the shipping company and reference rather than assuming the container has disappeared. CMA CGM’s page notes that older returned-container records and a search under the wrong shipping company can affect results. Contact its customer support if the reference still produces no useful update.

Read each leg separately

An arrival or unloading update at a transshipment port is different from an event at the final ocean destination. Compare the event port, vessel and voyage before using the date to plan onward transport.

Confirm collection conditions

A reported discharge does not confirm cargo release, customs clearance or terminal pickup availability. Check the applicable requirements with the carrier, terminal or agent before arranging collection.

How CargoFlowPlus handles it

  1. Check the carrier result: Use the official lookup link and confirm that the returned journey matches your shipment.
  2. Test your CargoFlowPlus reference: Choose CMA CGM and the available reference type in your account. Confirm the request there to start tracking; coverage varies by reference and route.
  3. Review updates in context: Read reported milestones and carrier ETA alongside your other shipments. Confirm collection conditions with the responsible parties.

Is this the official CMA CGM tracking website?

No. This is a CargoFlowPlus guide linking to CMA CGM’s own service. The two services have separate access and tracking workflows.

Will both services show exactly the same information?

Not necessarily. Field availability and update timing can differ. Test your own references and use the carrier or terminal for release and collection confirmation.
